BCI is looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. The Accounting Clerk responsibilities include data entry and maintaining accounting documents and records. Candidates should be familiar with accounting procedures. Main job tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review and verify invoices and check requests Sort, code, and match invoices Set invoices up for payment Enter and upload invoices into system Track expenses and process expense reports Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments Prepare and perform check runs Maintain, verify, and post transactions to journals, ledger, and other records Reconcile accounts payable transactions Prepare analysis of accounts Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Maintain vendor files Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries Produce monthly reports Assist with month end closing Provide supporting documentation for audits Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal ID numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments. In this role you will summarize and post data to journals, ledgers and other accounting records; total and balance accounts; reconcile bank accounts and obtain approvals on invoices to be paid; make proper accounting entries in ledger; reconcile discrepancies with vendors; prepare transmittal of invoices for payment while you prepare and monitor monthly aging of accounts; prepare statements and collection letters for delinquent accounts; make phone calls to collect accounts excessively overdue.
You will approve and process direct billing requests; prepare all bills and mail invoice statements and research and investigate all credit card disputes; balance and prepare all credit card transmittals and ensure credit card reconciliation’s are prepared, balanced and discrepancies are resolved.

Responsibilty includes preparing or assisting in the preparation of daily bank deposits and you may assist in various storeroom areas to include receiving, storing and dispensing hotel goods to ensure that each department’s supply needs are met in a timely and efficient manner and reconcile banquet bar requisitions while preforming additional accounting-related duties and assisting with other duties as needed.

This position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year experience in an accounting clerical, front office, or reservations position or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Anadarko seeks a Sr Accountant to join the Accounting Research & Policy organization located in the Woodlands, TX office. The position will focus on analyzing transactions and documenting technical accounting conclusions and policies.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:
* 10 years of progressive experience related to accounting and auditing financial statements is preferred
* Public accounting and/or oil and gas E&P or midstream experience is preferred
* Proficient knowledge applying U.S. GAAP to transactions
* Familiarity with IFRS
* Thorough research and documentation experience is a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work as part of a team, as well as interact with all levels of the organization
* Ability to apply strong attention to detail
* Strong work ethic
* Minimum 6 years of accounting experience is required

Responsibilities:
* Apply accounting guidance, SEC rules, and Anadarko accounting policies to complex and unprecedented transactions
* Coordinate and support of both accounting and operational areas to ensure appropriate application of accounting guidance
* Document accounting treatment for significant, unusual, or non-recurring transactions
* Drive issues to resolution across a broad group of people, disciplines, and levels
* Update and maintain Anadarko accounting policies

Accounting Support – Accounts Receivable Team

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator/Collection Specialist works with customers to resolve open invoices on accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

* Manage accounts receivables balances and collect all monies owed from customers.

* Maintain tracking of all customer open receivables.
