Main Responsibilities:
* Price retail deals, analyze and model pricing components, communicate with sales team members, and perform various reporting functions.
* Find ways to streamline existing processes and maintaining cost curves.
* Analyze and model pricing components and historical customer load data.
* Price and support the development of new product initiatives.
* Work closely with the C&I and regulatory teams to understand market rules and utility tariff changes, as well as proposed/anticipated changes in the market and how they impact pricing.
* Work collaboratively with multiple functional departments to respond to RFPs.
* Support the information library and data infrastructure of the Pricing team.
* Other duties and responsibilities as may arise and may be assigned by management.

Experience Requirements
* 5 years experience in a substantially similar role
* Bachelors degree required in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, business, IT or related.
* Strong understanding of the retail power pricing process
* Advanced knowledge of Excel
* Understanding of the cost structures of deregulated electric markets, including capacity, transmission, ancillary services, and losses
* Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including ability to present complex analysis in clear, concise written and oral form.
* Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
* Attention to detail and strong focus on accuracy of information.
* Able to manage multiple diverse tasks simultaneously and prioritize.
* Ability to communicate effectively at various levels with a strong customer service attitude towards the sales team and other departments.
* Good understanding of business processes and data management.

Pricing & Merchandise Specialist

The Pricing & Merchandise Specialist is responsible for maintaining in-store presentation and controlling inventory pricing practices to meet or beat planned inventory shrink and improve margins.
The Pricing & Merchandise Specialist supports the Sales Team by maintaining accurate pricing on products, ensuring proper tagging, signing, and use of starbursts to convey value to customers.
The Pricing & Merchandising Specialist provides store leadership, a key resource to improve communications and business performance.
They are accountable for complying to the Code of Business Conduct and overall business practices.
The Pricing & Merchandising Specialist must have day, evening and weekend availability to work.

Job Duties:
* Updates 991 tags to maintain accurate cadence pricing
* Maintains price tag presentation by retagging/replacing distressed tags
* Processes Price Change Notifications by updating merchandise tags
* Sets end-cap displays and signing
* Works 991 Exception report and maintains integrity of items on the 991 table
* Assists with store-level Marketing efforts, including postings on Craigslist and local flyer distribution
* Follows the Web-to-Store process for items that are sold from the store through Searsoutlet.com
* Creates promotional signs
* Sets weekly ads and updates pricing of items in the store weekly, including Great Value Items and “Crazy Deal” items
* Supports leadership by performing the following activities: updates the Communications Board, as needed; posts schedules for store Associates; and pulls and posts Key Reports
* Reviews supply quantities and orders replenishment needs weekly (in stores without a Sales Administrative Lead)
* Prepares deposits, handles receipts and disbursements and issues checks for local payments (in stores without a Sales Administrative Lead)
* Performs audits on sales/refunds and disbursement detail (in stores without a Sales Administrative Lead)
* Processes mail, invoices through Dallas Accounts Payable (in stores without a Sales Administrative Lead)
* Adheres to pricing and merchandising processes
* Performs other duties as assigned

Pricing Specialist – Lead

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Summary:
* Responsible for creating quotes and cost proposals for sales and management.

* Manage pricing activities with sales, sales engineers, product managers and senior management.

* Responsible for developing complex cost/pricing models spanning multiple years.
* Review presales and contractual documents to ensure written content aligns with cost proposal.
* Review and approve other Pricing team work.

* Prepare P&L and ROI presentations for senior management.
* Work with engineering and PMO teams to transition presales estimations to implementation phase.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* 50% Develop daily custom quotes, BOMs for sales and manage the quotation process. Individual must maintain confidentiality of the pricing quotes. As needed basis develop MS Word pricing proposal, RFP response cost proposals, contract pricing exhibits.
* 20% Develop customized pricing model for large turn-key solutions.
* 10% Review customer orders, support creation of SOW and contractual documentation.
* 5% Review accuracy and work of other Pricing team members.
* 5% Review cost proposal requirements for competitive bidding process and generate compliant documentation.
* 5% Work with engineer and PMO teams to transfer presales information for implementation.
* 5% Negotiate pricing and terms/conditions with vendors and subcontractors.

Prerequisites:
* Education:
B.S Degree with Finance & Accounting as a major.
* Experience:
At least 7 years of relevant experience in pricing, business accounting and financial modeling plus solid understanding of computer technology products and services is required.
* Certifications, Licenses, etc.:
None required.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
* Language Skills: Outstanding communication skills.
* Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills; professional, analytical, detail oriented.
* Reasoning Skills: Proficient with computers, particularly MS-Excel. Working knowledge of with MS-Word necessary. Applicant must be good at time management and willing to work on multiple assignments and pricing sheets the same time.
